How the WEBA Agent Workshop Works

Our Agent Workshops are designed as a complete four-phase process, going beyond a single online presentation. We support your school before, during and after the live workshop and continue promoting your institution within our international agent network.

Phase 1 - Preparation & Agent Promotion

Before the workshop, we will require the following information from your school:

  • A PowerPoint presentation, if available, or a school brochure
  • A short video introducing your school
  • Up-to-date information about your programmes
  • Tuition fees and other costs
  • Accommodation information
  • Location and campus information
  • Entry requirements
  • Any other relevant information you would like agents to know

  • We use this information to introduce and promote your school to our international agents.

Agents can review your information before registering for the workshop. This is an important part of our process, as we want participating agents to already understand your school and arrive at the workshop prepared with relevant questions.

Phase 2 - Live Online Workshop

We organise a live online workshop of approximately 2-3 hours, with international education agents registering from different countries.

During the workshop, WEBA will personally monitor and assist throughout the event, including:

  • Supporting your presentation
  • Introducing your school to the participating agents
  • Managing questions and interaction
  • Assisting with technical or organisational matters
  • Helping facilitate communication between the school and agents

  • Our workshops are usually very intensive, so good preparation is important for both the school and the participating agents.

WEBA will also familiarise itself with your school beforehand, including your programmes, location, history and other important information, so that we can properly support and assist during the workshop.

    Phase 3 - Follow-Up

The work doesn't end with the live workshop.

After the event, WEBA will follow up with the participating agents and provide them with the relevant school information.

    We will:

  • Share the recorded workshop with participating agents
  • Share your updated PowerPoint or presentation
  • Encourage interested agents to contact your school directly
  • Encourage agents to arrange one-to-one meetings with your admissions or international team
  • Provide your school with the contact details of the agents who participated

  • Many of our exhibitors use Calendly or a similar booking system to arrange one-to-one appointments with interested agents. This has proven to be a very effective way to continue the conversation after the workshop.

    Phase 4 - Extended Promotion

Following the workshop, WEBA will continue promoting your school within our international agent network.

We will provide a dedicated link connected to your school where interested agents can:

  • Review the recorded workshop
  • Access your presentation and information
  • Learn more about your school
  • Submit their contact details and enquiry if they are interested in working with your institution

  • This allows your school to keep receiving interest from agents after the live workshop.

A Complete International Agent Recruitment Process

The WEBA Agent Workshop is therefore not simply a two- or three-hour online presentation.

It is a complete process covering:

Preparation → International Agent Promotion → Live Workshop → Follow-Up → Extended Promotion

The objective is to give your school the opportunity to build direct relationships with international education agents and continue developing them after the event.
